My first piece one.

Just before I read the challenge I started to listen to U2 songs again. And guess which is my favorite? Of course "one".
So when the first challenge arrived i knew that song needs to be part.

While actively listening to the song text i discovered that apart from the personal history it has also a more general message for me: "Be more caring about your fellow humans and other creatures. We have one World. And we should carry each other instead of fighting each other" And I tried to put this in my piece.

It measures 27 x30 cm

I used patchwork, machine quilting with metallic thread and poly sheen multi

Hand embroidery

And i like that the thread tension which didn't work with my 2 different threads in the letters produced a multicolour effect:)
