Pink Snowflake Quilt by Avery D

My 10 year old daughter likes reading the challenges with me when they come out. Avery told me I should make pink hearts. I had to break it to her that I didn't really like hearts, so I would need to think about it. She told me that I should make a pink snowflake. Then she said it's pink snow, not yellow. Avery was remembering the story about my sister who ate yellow snow when she was a baby. For the next few days, Avery kept telling me how I could make this pink snowflake quilt. Then I told her that she could make it instead!

We finished it on Saturday. She is very proud of her little quilt!

Created by Avery Dorn, age 10, for the Project QUILTING 14.2 Pink Tint challenge with support from her mother Teri Dorn.
