Maneki-neko by Iris M

As always didn't knew what to do. So I started pulling some pinkish fabrics make some cuts and played around putting them together to get knew fabric. Still didn't knew what to do, so hard because of endless possibilities.

One thing I did was a crazy wonky log cabin kind of piece. Then I thought you never go wrong with a placemat or mini quilt. So I started doing it and finished it with binding just before lunch today. Lucky me middle of the night for you.

Now that it's finished I can see a picture.

Without my intention, it became a wishing good luck cat or beckoning cat ( Maneki-neko in japan) looking out of her pink home /cabin with her pink and funny garden to greet all viewers wishing everyone all the best.

I love when the things you make want to tell their own story.
