Just a Little Wonky by Hannah D

"Just a Little Wonky"
Size: 20" x 22"

Generally I don't use a lot of pink in my projects so this week was a little outside my comfort zone. I didn't have a plan when I started improv piecing the little blocks using scraps I had. I just kept making blocks and rearranging them until the design felt right.

I usually like straight lines and precision in my projects, but lately I've been drawn to more improv and modern styles. These blocks have mostly straight lines but they're "just a little wonky."

Made by Hannah D. for the Project QUILTING 14.2 Pink Tint Challenge.

  1. Such a great project to explore what makes your heart happy in the moment. Love it!

  2. I like the way the blocks seem to dance across the quilt top and the quilting really works perfectly!
