Pinkity Pink Pink by Teri D

Pinkity Pink Pink

I really wanted to do something like one of Kim’s quilts for the first challenge. I liked all the little pieces in it. I remembered that I had bought a set of half-square triangles for paper piecing.
I decided to just have fun and make them with no plan, except using pink fabrics.

I had some left over strips from a different project, so I just used those fabrics.

I’m more of a traditional quilter who uses a pattern, so it was a lot of fun making the blocks in two different sizes to see what I could come up with. I tried a new way of putting on the binding. It didn’t work very well because the quilt was so small.

I’ll try it again on another bigger quilt to see if it’s easier to manage.

Created by Teri Dorn for the Project QUILTING 14.2 Pink Tint Challenge.

  1. Binding small quilts can definitely be a big challenge. The finish looks great to me!
