Sunsets in NC by Carol P

This is the first placemat in a series depicting sunsets seen from my NC kitchen window. I worked from my original photo, one of hundreds I’ve taken in the last 15 yrs.



The backing makes this placemat reversible and still reflects the sky colors of the sunset.



This is a progress picture showing the photo on my phone and a cardboard mat I use to determine the areas I want to use when laying out my fabrics.
