I decided to use some of my hand dyed fabric.. which alot seem to look like all sorts of skies! I picked this one.. eventually.. as in South Africa a storm will occur with sunshine!!..
This is basically a whole cloth with some quilting and 'thread painting'.. We still have load shedding (no electricity for hrs) here so I did this rapidly in the night!

Your choice of hand-dyed fabric was perfect for this project! I've never been to South Africa, but I can feel just a glimmer of it in this piece....just beautifully done!
