Birds and Bees by Clare M

My entry is called Birds and Bees. 19” wide by 20 1/2” long.

Just before the mystery for 15.1 came out I had been looking up how to make homes for the native bees here in Adelaide, Australia. These bees need a box full of tubes of some sort. (I haven’t made one yet.)
At the same time I was looking for a pattern for the Rainbow Scrap Challenge at superscrappy.blogspot.com and was looking at the bird house at quiltingpatch.blogspot.com.
So I combined the two ideas, I used fabrics with spots on and a larger version of the bird house. I also included ladybirds and snails, some of my favourite v677small creatures.
