I tried out a lot of new things for this quilt. I didn’t want to make a traditional bird house. I pictured it to be a closeup of the bird house looking into the hole.
I did improv piecing for the front of the birdhouse.
I used the circle cutter (#ad) for the first time to make the hole. Then I did a facing instead of binding.
I need to work on making my corners a little more square! I really had fun on this little 10 inch quilt!
