I’m Cathy, I live in Virginia. It’s 12x12 raw edge appliqué, with light thread painting (as my Featherweight doesn’t appreciate the back and forth needed to do it proper!). Irregularly quilted with vertical lines and echoing stick shapes Batted, backed and bound!
I call it “Gathering “ as birds are gathering the bits and sticks they need to nest.
