Wasp Quilt by Avery D

Avery, 10 years old, wanted to make a wasp quilt for the Conquer a Fear Challenge.

She wanted yellow, black, and brown fabrics.  When she layed out the strips, she really didn't like the brown with it, so she changed it to just yellow and black.  She found a cute frog fabric in my stash to use for the back.  She said it was funny because frogs eat bees.

Then we scrolled through the decorative stitches on my machine and Avery found a design that looked like a honeycomb.

Avery is very proud of her Bee Quilt.
