Inset Seams by Teri D

I decided to do something with inset seams for the Conquer a Fear Challenge.

I bought a Kaffe Fassett kit, even though it has inset seams. I haven't been brave enough to try it because I don't want to mess it up. I decided to reduce the template 50% to try out the blocks for this challenge.

The first block got stretched all out of shape due to bias edges. The next block was better because I took the time to pin the fabric so it couldn't stretch out of place. That really helped.

I thought that I was doing fine until I realized that a lot of sections had an extra fold in the corner with diamonds when I ironed the blocks. I decided to leave it since you can't tell by just looking at it. So, I haven't mastered inset seams yet, but I know I'll do better next time.
