I was eagerly awaiting the next challenge.
54-40 or fight???? Something I didn't know.
Traditional blocks are not really my thing. Watching the tutorials and browsing some Quilts on pinterest. I came along one which reminded me of a flower. Yes! Flowers i love. And gardening is relaxing and peaceful and the opposite of fight:)
Since we should be inspired i created my own design based on the 54-40 or fight.

But i only quilt since 2 years so i had some difficulties to get it right without cut up flower petals and i ended up with 8 tea mug rug tops until it worked.
Since they where there i also wanted to finish them. And then my husband told me we will be camping starting tomorrow since the rooms are so expensive in the next days. Arrghhh.....hurry, hurry hurry.
So don't look too close...

The stems are slings to hang them.
