Janes (#ad) famous quilt in subdued color, perfect semetry.Her diamonds sashed with polka dot
He fabrics were florals

I have a nod to her diamond shape and polka dot

My diamonds are only sashed on one side
I did not use floral fabric; however I did embroider a couple of basic flowers.
I did not replicate semetry.

I am a fan of red and white. I alternated a solid white on white polka dot with a gingham check sashing with the gingham of a different size or a white with black dot
I like the nod to Janes meticulous work in the whimsy of mine.
