The book I read when I was much younger, Patty Lynn at the Grand Canyon (#ad), was written by Patrick Lawson in 1960. I read it many times and I believe it helped me make my way out West. For almost 5 years I did work at Grand Canyon for the Fred Harvey Company in the late 1970’s, where I also met my husband. We now live in Denver, Colorado.
