Teacher, be Mine

I'm super early, I know but I received the challenge email just as my daughter was talking about giving her teacher a Valentines gift. My creativity just went from there.

This mug rug was made today, with scraps from a larger project I'm working on. It measures 5.5" square, and is filled with wool batting. It's called "teacher, be mine"; as my daughter will be giving it to her kindergarten teacher as a holiday gift.
