When I see something colorful, I typically reach out my hand to run my fingers to feel the Texture. Is it real, or imagined?  I wanted this week's challenge to be one a child or adult would want to touch each section to feel the difference that the eye sees.IMG_1357

This whimsical elephant is a girl (of course) from her bejeweled eye lashes, toes and tail to a layered blanket in tones of pink, red and metallic gold. The stitching in the background mimics the blanket with the curves inverted to hint of hills.  Her family probably will get upset because she has decided to spray her head with a steam of water (French Knots are the droplets).
