Brighter the Better Hexes

Here's my entry for Project Quilting - Brighter the Better!   I didn't think I was going to have time to do this this round. But, I remembered I'd been wanting to do a version of The Jaybird Quilts Lotus, using the smallest measurement on the Hex N More ruler. I ended up making this small table runner. It measures 24" long by 10.5" wide.

I decided to use scraps that I had on hand. I always learn something when I do your challenges. I was surprised that my orange triangles didn't stand out as much as the green. Not enough contrast. I also wanted to say that I'm getting so much inspiration from the other projects that people share as well.

Not only did I feel like I learned a lesson from this, but I'm also wanting to get my Hex N More ruler out again and make a couple more and bigger Quilts with it!  I can't thank you enough for doing this!

Thanks again,
