Vibrant and Vivacious Harmonic Convergence Quilt by Bill H

Story:
I was scheduled to teach a class using the Ricky Tims Harmonic Convergence quilt pattern on Friday, March 20th at the awesome quilt shop called Sew Much More in Waukesha,

WI. It was canceled/postponed due to COVID-19. So, I decided to just go ahead and sew this at home anyway with some vibrant and vivacious colors! Stay home and sew!

Thanks

Bill

Fishing Hole by Woodra C

Fishing hole.

Postcard  4 x 6

I made this postcard for my brother who has late stage ALS. I try to send him something regularly.  My husband made a quilt for him.

This is not as bright as I would like it: however, it is the best I could do under the circumstances.

It's a Vivid, Wonky Little World by Carol K

It's a Vivid, Wonky Little World- Carol Kunnerup

I bought Kim's pattern, Dresden Neighborhood, but had not had time to print.

I used the double wide Dresden ruler from Me And My Sister designs for my houses and the Dresden ruler for the yards/hedges.

Had a BLAST using the cork and vinyl, once I got used to stitching on it.

I didn't love it. I was going  way off track and wonky.

Hubster says, "All your stuff is wonky. That's your style." I thought about it for a minute and happily just kept adding, 'cause MORE IS BETTER. 😁

I love it now.

Will try the lovely Dresden neighborhoods soon. Maybe mine wont be so wonky with Kim's instruction.😁

Taco and Pillow by Tucker

Taco and Pillow- Tucker

We and the Grands have been looking forward to Spring break together for the whole school year.

It is finally here, and looks to be extended...

Tucker was excited to use my little Brother machine. It has 50+ stitches and he wanted to try them all. Rotary cutter, scissors, Heat n Bond, iron, my stash...he had a plan.

A Taco and a pillow for his mom. I sat next to him and turned down the speed of the machine a time or 2 to help, but he was ON it. Applique and minimal quilting, pocket opening for pillow.

Vibrant and Vivacious by Anneliese B

This was quite a challenge for me as most of my favorite colors are not vibrant. I started with a small piece but this inspired me to try a vibrant collage which won't be finished in time for this challenge.

Vibrant and Vivacious Purse by 'Lisa Pearson

Here is my entry for this weeks project quilting challenge. My Mom, who recently turned 90, asked for a new purse, she picked out the bright, funky fabric.

I usually spend my Saturdays with my Mom, but due to Covid-19,  life is not the same.

I am going to try to visit her tomorrow while she is inside the house and I stay on the outside edge of the patio. Gotta keep her healthy! Thanks for posting this for me.
