"Saving Nine"
This week's theme had me stumped for a little bit. My first thought was really obscure. I first thought of the song 'Step in Time ' from Mary Poppins. Step in Time, stitch in time... A bit too out there. I eventually settled on a clock.
I had just started quilting the top and my sewing machine malfunction and wouldn't sew. I defuzzed the bobbin case and tried to fix it myself with no success. GAH! The deadline is looming and I am going on retreat next weekend. My workhorse needs to be fixed. I called the shop and they said to come down. I get there and they work on it a bit but don't find a problem. Weird. I head home and finish up my quilting. Even with 2 hours out of my day taking my machine for a car ride, I still managed to finish ahead of schedule. I guess time was on my side.
