For the Project QUILTING 15.3 Inside Out challenge, I decided to make a wall hanging that I had. Being a small project, I did not want to bind it. So I layered the batting on the bottom, then the backing fabric, and lastly the panel face down. I pinned all layers together and sewed them, leaving an opening. I trimmed the excess batting and fabric, trimmed the corners and turned the project Inside Out.
I then quilted it, outlining the animals and Santa. I free motioned in the sky. I straight stitched around the project in several places.
