Sunflowers in Solidarity by Robyn W

Like many others I chose sunflowers to show solidarity with Ukraine but I kept my drawing simple. I embellished the original yellow stitches with a yellow Madeira Rayon Thread and added a piped binding. I hadn't done one for a few years so it took me three tries and I'm still not satisfied with it but now I have something to practice this summer along with more time using InkTense pens. Continuing education!!

The 'repetition' is my sunflowers and the 'rhythm' is in the paisley table covering which reminds me of shawls and tablecloths I've seen in European stores and open markets.
