Charming Tote by Barb R

 "Charming Tote"

I had made flying geese blocks in the past but it had been a while. So I went on line to review the different ways to make them. I found a video by Jenny of the Missouri Star Quilt Co. Her method uses charm squares.

I had a partial charm pack that was given to me some time ago. I really like the colors and patterns so I decided that this would be the perfect project for it.

I decided to make a tote bag. I used several charms to make the flying geese blocks for the front. I alternated the direction in each row. I used a medium weight interfacing and lining to give the tote some structure.

I used leftover charms to piece the handles and the back.

Created by Barb R for the Project QULITING 13.6 Flying Geese Challenge.
