Back to Minnesota/Wisconsin by Robyn W
I immediately knew I wanted to do something related to our annual winter sojourn in Madison but it was lunch with a couple of PQ friends (you know who you are!) who suggested turning my geese into trees.
Since I plan to make this a traveling quilt, I’ve included two hanging sleeves so I can flip-flop the quilt, depending on where we are.
Love Stripes by Lola Z
11x11 inches
I enjoy making flying geese. Love the 4 at a time method. To get my geese with stripes going this way, I needed to make 8. I have 4 left for next project!!!

Dare to Be the Ugly Gosling by Lisl K
Dare to be the ugly duckling (or gosling as it may be).
I’ve never sewn a flying goose before . Here’s a hot pad to match my previous “diamond” hot pads for my mom.

I also wanted to show the difference between quilted and unquilted areas. To enhance the difference I put 2 different battings in my little quilt.
The challenges are so great for trying something new and also to finish it. Thanks to all your and Trish's effort for preparing a great platform for playing around and Also be able to reach a goal every other week. Just the little achievement you can reach that get you going on. Thanks. XOXO Iris Mueller

KISS by Eva K
I had to post the whole interaction for this entry - it makes me laugh and so happy! Great job Eva!
KISS by Eva K
I had every intention of quilting the larger quilt , but knew it would be a mess if I
Rushed through it. So I made a mini quilt called KISS Keep it Simple Stupid
OOPS. Eileen reminded me it has to be 5 geese….I will hand sew one to the back and send a new photo
So here’s the back of KISS meeting the 5 flying geese requirement.

Geese Go Round by Teri D
It was pretty easy to do, except I kept putting the fabric in the wrong spot when I was sewing the sections.

Sick Goose Bag by Mardy M
It’s been a rough week….I had high hopes to make a table runner. Started my geese (which I was tickled with, as I’d never tried them before). Then, I got sick. I’m still not feeling great, but I make a lot of these little zip bags for our church booth sales and can (almost) do them in my sleep!
This one is tiny, 5 1/2 x 5!Completed by Mardy M for the Project QUILTING 13.6 Flying Geese Challenge.
Best part….I completed ALL 6 challenges for the first time!

Flying Geese by Pam K
I enjoyed this because it gave me an opportunity to use a paper piecing method to make my geese which I’ve been wanting to try for awhile now.
Liked making them that way.affiliate ad
