Hometown Pride

Finished my #projectquilting 9.1 challenge. Hometown Pride.

My family moved to San Luis Obispo when I was young. I just love the California Central Coast. One of my favorite things is the proximity to the ocean and many great beaches.

Hometown Pride by Cherese C

My quilt is of the iconic Morro Rock.  A ancient volcanic plug from the 1st of a string of 7 extinct volcanos in the area. I spent a lot of time here and still visit when I can.

It measures 8" x 11" and is pieced, appliqued, and free motion quilted.
