En mi viejo San Juan

Statement:
I was born in an Army hospital not far from this picture. The guards turret at El Morro Fort. This is in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico My hometown. 

The quilting is applique with invisible thread on top.

My inspiration:

I create in Newtonville MA, just outside Boston.
