Ellie's Pinwheels by Carol K

I had only Saturday to create a project for the challenge, Bigger than a Bread Box, PQ10.3

Nothing really had come to me all week. I knew today was my only day to get something made and I was going to get it done.

I grabbed a bits and pieces from my stash. It has been sooooo cold here, and I have dreaming so hard of Spring and planting, that, Pinwheels came to mind.

I quickly whipped up 8.5" in squares for my pinwheels. I decided to simply stitch in the ditch for quilting.

My new grand daughter, Ellie, only has a crocheted afghan from grandma and is already 5 and 1/2 months old.

This is for her. I had to use my DecoFoil again. This is cotton and cotton batting. It is 35ish" square.

Here is my handsome grandson, Tucker, with his beautiful little sister, Ellie.

Tucker has several quilts and hats from Grandma. Ellie, oh, Grandma is just getting started.
