“My 24” square super hero quilt will be donated to A Doll Like Me, because there is no one more brave or courageous than a child whose challenge is being different.
Dolls are made by a Wisconsin woman, Amy, and they are special because they resemble the child they are being made for - a child with special needs who may be missing a limb/partial limb, or have other health issues. Because each child’s need is so special, there are no dolls made that are like them. Amy is trying to meet this need. And she would like to send a doll quilt along with each doll she makes. This is a February challenge - to make and send her doll quilts so that each child can have a quilt for their doll. Made in Tucson, Az by WayMooreFun.”
Created for the Project QUILTING Challenge “Bold and Brave.”
