Nautical Pillow by Mary Jordan

Created by Mary Jordan for Project QUILTING Challenge 8.1 – Eight is Great.

Made this pillow for my daughter.  It has 16 pieces of fabric in it (2x8) with some basic straight line quilting and measures 10.5 inches square.  Her guest bedroom has a nautical theme and was hinting she would like something with a red cross on it.    IMG_20170103_194449_915I quilt (live) in Blaine, WA right off Drayton Harbor and Semiahmoo Bay and enjoy walking along the spit and finding sea glass.   I find I get inspired by the colors, textures and what I find on my walks..
