Title: Look Out the Window
My sky colors project was inspired by my husband. When the sunset is particularly beautiful or unique he will text me and tell me to look out the window at the sunset so I won't miss it.
My favorite sunsets are the rich reds, deep pinks and purples especially over mountains. My quilt depicts some of my favorite sights to see out of a window: beautiful sunset colors over mountains, wildlife and trees.
It measures 32" x 28", it is sewn blocks with applique mountains, trees and wildlife and free motion machine quilted.
* On a side note, if anyone can tell me how to get the quilt basting spray stains out of the brown "window frame" fabric I'd REALLY appreciate it!
