“Tick Tock”

Tick Tock...
As a child, I remember having a toy clock that was made of many colorful gears that I could crank to make them turn.  Then, as with all toys, it broke so....time was up!

I came up with this design thinking of that old toy.  Machine appliquéd to fabric with circles of gears using a stitch that looks like the serrated edges of those gears of long ago.  Design is not centered on the fabric to give the illusion of the gears moving out and around as turned within that old toy.  22 by 18 inches.
