This was a true challenge for me, the center square is a picture of our now vacant school, which I had to get it on my computer so I could print the picture on fabric, but I did it.

Waiting for Sunset by Jen Mulder

Here's my entry for Hometown Pride - Waiting for Sunset.   I have created a simple afternoon landscape of a lake with nice blue skies.  We are viewing this from the University of Wisconsin Union Terrace.

Waiitng for Sunset by Jen Mulder

The iconic terrace chair is empty in anticipation of friends and sunset.   It will be spectacular.   I have free-motion quilted the lake section with holographic thread so that it sparkles.     This quilt is 18 x 24.

I create in Madison, WI.

Created for the Project QUILTING Hometown Proud Challenge.

Fall Focus by Meena S

I made “ Fall Focus” for the orange challenge. I used orange as the focal color for my design.

Fall Focus

I placed it on an orange background but the details got totally lost…so I put it on its complementary color.

Created for the “Orange October” off season challenge.
