PQ 13.2—In Silhouette.

Here’s my project, “Cameo” (21” x 17”). I was inspired by 2 parts of Trish’s challenge description: “contrast” and “brooch”.

I started with a traditional silhouette of my daughter created at Disneyland when she was 3 years old and from that created the center. There is extra batting layered inside the silhouette and 2 full layers of batting in the brooch. The gold binding of course is to complete the look of the brooch. Creating this was fun, as usual, and challenging as well.
