Project Quilting Challenge 12.2 ~ Fussy Cut 

In my search for fabric I could fussy cut, I got a bonus for this challenge and ended up cleaning my sewing room!  I liked the turtles and thought the fish went well with them!  I used the turtle stitch on my sewing machine to stitch on the binding!

This was created for an online challenge called Project Quilting. You get a week to complete a whole quilt based on a theme.  Prizes will be given out by random drawing.  Each week is a different theme.

I decided to make all 6 PQ challenges 18”x12” this year so I’ll have a set of placemats when I’m done.  I’m putting a different purple batik on the back of each of them so they are reversible.  I’m using a different fancy stitch for each to attach the binding.  For the label, I’m writing on the back on the binding.
