This is called “Strength.” The colors and fabric of the words represent myself as I am from the USA and it’s patriotic fabric. The three stars at the bottom represent three close family members who have special health challenges. The waves represent the emotional ups and downs of caring for these people. The red maple leaf represents new friends in Canada, where I’m now living, who have been a great support system.
The bird at the top represents the Spirit of God who is always present and takes care of even the smallest sparrow. The words themselves are a reminder to me and my family members that we/they are not alone through their ordeal. They are also the title of a favorite song by Kari Jobe based on Isaiah 43:2-3.
