Title: Fiercely Hoping

Description: Ever vigilant, the great horned owl is always hoping to spot her next meal. The owl is my sister’s favorite bird and this is for her, as she starts her second round of chemo.Fiercely Hoping.Mary Nisley.DSC05875

Construction: machine-stitched wool applique over wool batting. Hand embroidery and Micron pen. The backing is cotton with cross-stitch fabric as a stiffener.
