Lenape legend of the Rainbow Crow

 I’m in Burnsville, NC where Hurricane Helene wreaked amazing havoc.  I had thought I’d try creating a Phoenix rising from the waters but then read about Manaka’has, the Rainbow Crow of Lenape legend.  He brought fire to the earth from the Great Spirit but in doing so lost his beautiful voice and plumage.  

Finished the binding at midnight…not perfect, but done!
