I have lived in Buhl for 25 years now. When you think of Buhl you think of rainbow trout. If you have ordered a trout filet in a restaurant you have most likely eaten a trout from Idaho. And guaranteed to be boneless because if their state of the are processing.

My project is fused appliqué and machine stitched. Accents of hand quilting with pearl cotton. It measures 18” high by 23” wide.

This is my own design.

  1. A beautiful trout, and lovely quilting.
Trout are not allowed to be sold here in New Zealand. The only way to eat them is to catch one.
