Starshine by Jennifer Trendel

I called it Starshine because the Allman Brother's song "Soulshine" was stuck in my head as I sewed.

Starshine

It's an eight-sided star made by following Melissa Corry's Scrappy Rainbow Star tutorial and Ellison Lane's Starflower block tutorial.  All the fabric came from my scrap stash.  I chose a star because I generally avoid triangles and I made the star points with half-square triangles.

It was machine quilted and machine bound.  Enchanted by Sarah Fielke for Windham Fabrics is on the back.  The square finished at 16.5 x 16.5 inches.

Made by Jennifer Trendel for the Project QUILTING Challenge Eight is Great.
