"Armageddon Outta Here!!" by Nancy LaPorte

This was my second attempt at a quilt for this month. I had the idea that I would make red log cabin blocks, off center, and sew them together on point to look like shingles, and make a spooky house out of them. Made a lot of them...2" finished size. Sewed them all together and cut a house out of them.  Didn't work. It's kind of hard to make log cabin blocks look spooky.... they're just too wholesome, or traditional, or something! Started over!  I gave up and used them for my wall. I like them now!!

  1. What a great quilt. The house is amazing and the wall is great. Good to hear that someone else has challenges!
