‘Bubble Wrap’ by Nancy Hutchinson

‘Bubble Wrap’ by Nancy Hutchinson for the Log Cabin Focus Through the Prism Project QUITLING Challenge

The name and quilting of this off center log cabin  was inspired  by  a piece of bubble wrap packing material.

The light sides of the blocks are from a hand dyed single piece of Ricky Tims fabric, I believe it has an aquatic feel, and the one corner reminds me of a seahorse. The quilting was an experiment with a circle ruler, although i decided I prefer free motion quilting the circles.

  1. I like the contrast of the light hand dyed with the blues. It is soft and relaxing. The quilting is so nice. I'll have to check out the circle ruler.
