An hourglass was used hundreds of years ago to tell time. It was a simple device that could be turned over to be reset. Now we don't need to rely on hourglasses, the sun, or a sundial to tell time. We have wristwatches, wall clocks, atomic clock. cell phones, computers, calendars, etc.
Occasionally people use the "timeless hourglass" to cook eggs, or play some board games. Using computers, we sometimes have to wait for the computer to do its thing. What appears while we wait? An hourglass! My 29" x 29" table topper has a disappearing hourglass block surrounded by a while border with hourglass blocks in the corners. I call it the "Timeless Hourglass."
