Sun Rays by Ellen H

 I thought about the colors and what was written. I immediately thought of a tree as one of the most dependable elements in nature. I wanted to show early morning sun rays on the tree.  



I designed my mini quilt using embroidery software for the center block. I drew the tree and digitized the in hoop piecing, tree and quilting. It needed more so I added borders and quilted those using a walking foot. Then I added tiny seed beads to give a bit of sparkle to enhance the look of sunshine on the tree.

    Digitized designs? Seed beads? That's all foreign to me. Your PQ12.1 mini turned out beautifully!
