 Dresden Plate Tablet Cover


I decided to make a cover for my tablet. Since plates are found in the kitchen, I included a small dresden "plate" on the front in order to meet the Kitchen Influence challenge. 

I based the cover on the Custom Tablet Cover pattern I saw on Sew Very Easy on YouTube. I used a serpentine stitch to hold the top fabric, batting, and lining together. 

The cover includes a pocket for my tablet as well as an additional pocket behind the tablet to hold the charging cord. I used Velcro for the closure.
