Twinkle Lights by Hannah D

 Title: Twinkle Lights

Size: 27" x 36"

This week I decided to use a very simple block for my repeating element. I designed the layout and color scheme in Electric Quilt. I ended up making 75 of the blocks and added 33 solid squares in between. 

As I was sewing, the colors kept reminding me of strings of twinkle lights against the night sky. This wasn't my initial design inspiration, but I really like how the quilt turned out.

    Isn't it amazing how some of our projects seem to have minds of their own? The resulting quilt turned out great!
