Coors Field by Hannah D

 Title: Coors Field

Size: Approximately 30" x 30"

What better diamonds are there than baseball diamonds?! I'm a big fan of the Colorado Rockies so I decided to make a map of their stadium Coors Field. I used raw edge applique to make all of the sections and the field.

This was the first time I've tried to bind such an irregularly shaped quilt. There were multiple times this week that I regretted choosing such a complicated project. It took multiple late nights to finish, but I managed to get it done in time and I'm very happy with the result. Now I just need the baseball season to start!

  1. I love your interpretation of the theme--it's brilliant! I'm eager for baseball to start up again too.

  2. This is amazing! As a former resident of Denver and huge Rockies fan I am really impressed with the detail and accuracy. Well done, now we need to PLAY BALL!
