Wearables by Margie C

This was my first entry (my daughter has entered every one so far) and was a blast!

I sewed a pair of elephant pants

and a blouse in 1972. (I was 15) I wore them on my first date (1973) with my husband of 46 years. I kept them because they meant so much and brought back wonderful memories

This week I disassembled them, sandwiched them with batting and quilted it on my longarm. Then I made this keys/phone/wallet bag with it. I am over the moon with it. Thanks for getting us motivated.

Recycled Neckties by Deborah R

I saved my deceased father in laws ties. This project was the perfect challenge to sew them together.

Wearables by Linda B

I attend enough sewing related events that require a neck wallet, that creating one with pin fabric made sense.

I used one from work as a pattern with pockets for pens, keys, and nametag. But best of all, I used a stitch on my 20 year old machine that I'd never used before. Love how PQ15 always challenges me.

Flour Power by Lura M

I'm in the process of making a flour sack quilt for a friend who gifted me over 100 flour sacks from the 1930s/40s.

Thought it would be a fun project to incorporate the fabric into upcycled shirt that pays tribute to both the 30s/40s and the 60s 'Flower Power'.

New Coat by Gay

A new coat for this very cold soccer season. After a test walk I added a button instead if velcro at the neck.

The model is Geo.

Little and Lively

Wearables by Deb McD

I've had this denim jacket for years and decided a bit of batik would brighten it up.
