Wearables by Mary L

Here is my project for the Wearable Challenge. I made an apron from some dyed and printed pieces that I made in a class year's ago and have been sitting in my stash.

Loved the prompt especially that I used fabric that I was saving for ????

Wearables by Carol L

I have been thinking for awhile to use up a piece of Marcy Tilton fabric and decided to make a vest for this week’s challenge. I used Vogue V8819 pattern.

Just saying, I am glad to be a quilter. I had forgotten how much I dislike apparel sewing!

I thought I’d pass on this one and then had an Aha moment! My son gave me a BIG square scarf several years ago for Christmas that I never wore. I kept telling myself I’d make a shawl/kimono out of it.

This was the week! Here it is! And it is wearable😊

Moonbeams Charity Stitch Along 2024

New Hat by Maren R

Yes,Yes,Yes
that is my challenge.
I love to make use of old Jeans. I always kill them riding bicycles....but otherwise a lot of durable material:) last year i made a sofa cover and that skirt.

For the challenge i made a new hat. Mine just has a too narrow brim.

Since i a have no printer here i used the old hat as measure. Started sewing and thought i made a mistake and the template too small. So i added and discovered that this is too big and thats why it got a bit mushroom like. on the Jeans side.

I can wear it on both sides. Will definitely make some more. Such fun.

Of course i did some wrong sewing. but nevertheless finished it fast.
