First Chicken or Egg by Skeeter

Here is my entry “First Chicken or Egg?”  It is 11”x9”. I love having an egg for breakfast and chicken for dinner and the question always comes up and makes me laugh.

I love to felt and figured my chicken could use some fuzz. My name is “Skeeter” Sketers and I live in Mt Pleasant, South Carolina.

Dresden Plate Tablet Cover by Barb R

 Dresden Plate Tablet Cover

I decided to make a cover for my tablet. Since plates are found in the kitchen, I included a small dresden "plate" on the front in order to meet the Kitchen Influence challenge.

I based the cover on the Custom Tablet Cover pattern I saw on Sew Very Easy on YouTube. I used a serpentine stitch to hold the top fabric, batting, and lining together.

The cover includes a pocket for my tablet as well as an additional pocket behind the tablet to hold the charging cord. I used Velcro for the closure.

Kitchen Influence Projects by Caroline

The universe is well aligned, Sunday I read the theme before walking into a “Tuesday Morning “ shop… and what do I find on sale?

These fabrics!!

Made these useful items: an oven mitten, a hot bowl carrier, and a left over dish protector/hat :-)

There is always coffee brewing in my kitchen, so I made a Coffee Koozie for my coffee mug.

I got the free pattern/template from the Fat Quarter Shop a few years ago.

Hunters Square by Lisl K

I’m trying to challenge myself with new things to me. Today it was a Hunters Square block that I can use as an “undersetter “ on my kitchen island.
